Is this an error or is this normal? Should we be concerned?

404 is a page not found error. Its pretty common. The only time we should considered is if an "official" link 404's.

My point is that the page split in two with two headers, two footers, two sidebars, and two bodies. That's not "pretty common".

What browser do you use? I've seen this on Firefox before, but not on others (not that I use the others that frequently, just for CSS testing when it is needed).
In my experience it is more likely to happen if you click the same link twice in quick succession while there is some lag happening between you and the server, as the server receives two requests without a termination, then the browser receives two answers too close together, so it concatenates it into one document.
I don't recall if I did hit it twice quickly.

Wow, sorry. My thought was you had stiched two different 404 pages together . . .
Yeah, that's not common . . . . I guess report it to John . . .

I'm not a troll. Neither is anyone else in this thread. We're all regular users.

I'm not a troll. I have at several forms of proof.
Sorry, couldn't resist that last one.

bum bum buuuuummmmmmmm
This isn't Firefox specific, I can verify that it occurs in FF4, IE6, and IE9, and that double-clicking a link is not the cause.
The problem appears to be on the server-side, there are specific URLs which retrieve this strange error (actually any URL that reports itself as Error:404 within a specific folder).
