Could you please update JKDefrag 3.36 (August 2008) to MyDefrag 4.3.1 (May 20, 2010)?

unfortunetly mydefrag is closed source, (at least not payware) but we still have a preference to open-source licensed software so we may or may not update.

Like most freeware, you are not permitted to repackage it without permission. I have confirmed this with the publisher himself. He is interested in a pa.c version but will need to approve it. I am working on platform stuff first, though, as for most needs jkdefrag is more than enough. Even after we add mydefrag we will continue to make jkdefrag available due to our handy gui and the more liberal licensing.

ok i get your point. its not easy. my defrah has a few more features hat jkdefrah does not. but i understand what you are saying if it works use it. y update for minor improvments when the overall features are verry similar.
