Anyone not running U3 but running FF 2.0 and Avast! Anti-Virus?

If so, can you check your FF profile dir? Mine gains lots of temp files FF is NOT cleaning up. Shutting down Avast! stops this, but I am also running U3 launcher and even corporate-mandated MicroTrend on my host, so just need to know if these are relevant details or not.

I did a few more tests. This pattern of abandoned temp files is true if the host runs MicroTrend, Norton, Avira, or even Avast! Home Editions.

Turning off the U3 version of Avast! is the only way to stop their creation. Avast! may need to rethink how they run the USB-based AV. But I would also hope someday FireFox cleans up better after itself.
