Does anybody know how to install the Google plugin for Firefox Portable to enable video in GTalk?
I thought I had figured it out by copying the appropriate dll's into the plugin directory, but it didn't work.
Any ideas?

What's the plugin called?
I might be able to help if I know what to look for.
For the gadget at igoogle?
Yeah, it uses Adboe flash, for some reason google uses a different way to find out if you have flash or not. Even if you don't have it installed in "Data\plugins" it'll still say that. It has to be on the host machine.
Occationally it does work for some reason, and then it doesn't.
I finally gave up getting this to work and just got the GTalk application, and used seba's launcher
I was talking about the GTalk in Gmail. The plugin can be found here: (https://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=100173&topic=12888)
I lost another thread about copying the plugin into Portable firefox, but I can't seem to find it in 4.0..
The data I get for the two things it told me to grab is:
npgoogletalk.dll
application/googletalk
npgtpo3dautoplugin.dll
application/vnd.gtpo3d.auto
But I can't tell where the application dir is, and those plugins arent in the plugin directory.
Is this procedure no longer needed?
