Hi,
I'm on Portable.Com 2.0 beta 5 pre 2 and I have thunderbird 3.1.11 installed.
Since I updated to firefox 5.0 I cannot update thunderbird anymore.
I always get this message when I check for update :
"The downloaded copy of Mozilla Thunderbird, Portable Edition is not valid an can not be installed. This could be due to an incomplete download or other network issue. Please try running the updater again when complete".
What should I do ? Remove Thunderbird and reinstall ?

Delete your cache on the local machine (in Internet Explorer). At some point you downloaded a corrupt copy due to internet issues.

Thanks for the info. I'm not using Internet Explorer, I'm using Firefox portable. But I cleared the cache of both IE and Portable Firefox and I'm still having the problem. Portable Apps is installed in a the local drive directory in my personal folder.
I will try to uninstall and reinstall Thunderbird.

BT
I didn't say you were using IE. But IE's components are used when Windows itself downloads something, as is its cache. The PA.c Updater uses Windows components to download files.
Either way, you're getting a corrupt or incomplete download of Thunderbird Portable, which is why you see that error. That's actually the only thing that can cause that error to display. The only thing locally which can cause that is having a virus or a corrupted local hard drive.
