Doesn't it ever get updated? Have they stopped working on it?

Iron's mainpage says it's most recent update is 16.0.950.0.
Iron Portable's mainpage is also at 16.0.950.0
Just go to your menu and click apps->check for updates and grab the latest version from there.
But I only want to use portableapps version not the original version.
Do they keep up to date with security issues, because Chrome for example gets updated often, but Iron hasn't been updated for ages?

I think John forgot to update the Updater database.
Manually go here: https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/iron_portable and download and install it over your current installation of Iron Portable to update it to the latest version.
The updater database was updated when Iron 16 came out. truthseeker is using a much old platform for some reason without an updater built in.

If you have the latest version of the PortableApps.com Menu, then you'll see this. If you click on "Check for Updates" you'll see what apps you need to update.
Oh wow, after all this time I didn't know about the PLATFORM and the updating ability. I am now using the PLATFORM and updater and wow, it's great and so much easier than always having to manually keep an eye on updates.
