I have a replacement thumb drive and installed TB on it. I want to bring over all settings, mail, address book to the new drive. I was able to copy and paste the profile folder but at the new home page, TB doesn't see the profile and/or wants to start me thru a setup wizard. What am I not doing correctly?

but sometimes if path did change, then the start up can make problems.
One solution would be to use software called mozbackup (google for) to extract and import the data.
All may also work better when you take the 'empty' TB , use the wizard to make first some account and the copy in the profile when all running.
Remember that TB has to be completely run down during the copy/paste procedure.

I was successful doing it simply like this:
Close all apps.
Delete the profile folder from the fresh copy of TB first.
Copy and paste the profile folder from the older TB to the newer TB "Data" folder.
TB will no longer force an account setup.
