I came in contact with the developers about six months ago. They said they contacted John long before, but they were ignored, and they seemed mad about it in their email. Said something about only making a PAF version if it would automatically be listed in the directory. Just sayin.

I need it!
When I download this poretable version and add it to the PAP (Portable Apps Platform) then the installer tries to download the USB Version of PhraseExpress.
Here I get the message that PhraseExpress USB could not be downloaded.

Online installer I just modified kAlug's to point it to correct Freeware download. BTW I am not offering to take this over just helping out a user that is all.

as I said I just fixed up th e original so it would download

When I made it, is was hosted by CNET, and the URL kept changing everyday, so I had to setup a script to parse the download page and grab the correct URL. Eventually I gave up doing it.
I may consider resuming development as now they use a proper URL.

I am just a user (and a supporter who donated money).
I never created a portable app and I do not know what to do.
My time is also very rare, so I also do not have the time to get involved into the package process.
I even do not know if it is complicated of it is easy.
But I guess you need a virtual PC, have to check if the portable app creates Registry entries (if packaging was not successful) and so on.

Turnaround to install the newest Version of PhraseExpress_USB with PhraseExpressPortable_8.0.127_Development_Test_2_Online.paf
On 07. January 2014 the newest PhraseExpress Version was v10.0.133
- Download and execute PhraseExpressPortable_8.0.127_Development_Test_2_Online.paf
- Continue after Error 400
- Download the "portable edition" PhraseExpress_USB.zip from http://www.phraseexpress.com/download.php
- Create a folder "PhraseExpress" in x:\PortableApps\PhraseExpressPortable\App\
- Copy the files in PhraseExpress_USB.zip into the new folder m:\PortableApps\PhraseExpressPortable\App\PhraseExpress\
- Done - you shoud find PhraseExpress under Office after a new start of PortableApps
I recomend to the developer (Aluisio) to do it like the developer of "Glary Utilities Portable 2.x.x.x Development Test 1" see https://portableapps.com/node/20481
- Remove the MD5 check (installer will now download latest version)
