your site just contains a list of stupid program there are no downloads for portable apps!

Each is entitled to his opinion
1) All applications listed on my site are portable
2) YOur not only insulting me but all msfn community who build this database
3) I am the number one submitter at portablefreeware, I have found and work for portable application more than you. FOr example, I was the first to report that antivir was portable.
4) My site is cheap without ads, I dont have the bandwith for download. I link the homepage of each site. And that way You will always get the latest vesion
5) I have said that if John wanted to merge database I will provide him all the help I can offer, and shutdown my site.
6) I have always support this site, I have a banner of portablesapps on my site wihout asking anything in return. I dont have any ads, cash

While I don't think its stupid. MY complaint would be the same as the above. YOU have no apps for download. It would be worth while and a benefit you actually had them to download ON YOUR SITE.

I am not the authors of those portables applications. I just listed them . The best way to get you the latest version is to link their homepage.
I dont have any ads on my website. I am only a student trying to help his community, do you know how bandwith cost ???

I like the site, It is not supposed to be a place to actually download the application, it is a place to see what he has found that is portable and organize it into a subject database of sorts. and then you give you the link to the homepages to learn more and download the applications from the developers themselves if you would like.
Besides the hosting nightmare you wold have to go through to have all of the apps in a download format on the site, most devolpers would want you to go to their site to download it. A sort of control thing if you will. I know a few that use there site as a counter to see how many are downloaded and ues that to see if they should continue development based.
Why must you have an attitude towards albator if you can't even understnad what he is doing. Next time ask a question, such as "Where are the downloads" instead of being ignorant and calling the site stupid. I think you owe him an apology.
This community is here to learn from each other, Not flame each other becuase you are too ignorant or, in your words, stupid to understand that.
Go an learn how to post in a forum and come back after an attitude adjustment.

If you were addressing me, I don't owe anyone an apology. I was simply offering a non derogatory suggestion. I might also add that I welcome his effort to provide portable apps.
as that part of the post was to be directed at the indivual who was making ignorant comments to the author of the site. That would be John. As I cannot edit the post, I hope that this will differenciate between you and John. The first half of my post was to be my understanding of the site. The second, focused to John, was to be a request for an apology for his ignorance.

345 applications is a good start and a good collection. Well done!
May I suggest that you place them in a single file, since there are no attachments, it would make an easier referral (However, that might be my own opinion!). Since you are listing most of the programs, it would be much easier to access and obtain re-direction.
May I suggest having a site like the doom9.org downloads area. Great links and repository collection for video/audio work.

I had actually been to your site before, and picked up some great apps , including the excellent Foxit PDF reader, DeepBurner and Fusion. I'm not sure what that dude John was whining about; your site has links to the all the app home pages, as well as extra info and tips! That's more than enough! What does he want you to do, come to his house and DL apps for him?

Unfortunately, the atspace.org host doesn't support scripting, so php isn't going to work for now. Does anybody know of a free hosting site that supports this stuff:
- PHP
- FTP
- No ads
- High bandwidth
