Can you run it directly? Browse to the PeerBlockPortable\App\PeerBlock\Legacy32 (or 64 if you're 64-bit) and run it directly to see if it works. Make a backup of the folder first as it will save settings to that folder and then delete and restore when done.

Yah that flies, why not from the installer?
It could be bad detection of Server 2003. We're using the If AtLeastWinVista function to switch to the Modern equivalents. Likely it doesn't properly detect Server 2003 as being XP equivalent. It probably isn't tested with it as Server isn't really designed for everyday desktop use. Which one did you use that worked? And does the Modern one not work?

Legacy32 was used, the modern gave me .dll errors...
Looks like that's my mistake on a replace. Try this updated launcher: PeerBlockPortable.exe to ensure this works and then I'll push out a revision.

Runs from launcher now, using legacy 32bit. Did you say to lose a config and try the modern, or was that my ever fading recall?
When you ran it directly, it stored its config within the App directory. That's why I suggested backing it up and restoring.
I'll post a revision shortly (unless we lose power due to Sandy), so I'd suggest doing a fresh install of that and then going from there.

This is fixed in 1.1 r518 Rev 2. Windows Server 2003 will now correctly use the Legacy version of PeerBlock.
