TyperTask is a text substitution utility that lets you type words and phrases with only a few characters in any app as well as launch apps and open documents. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. TyperTask is freeware for business and personal use.

Thanks for your work on this, JW. I added in the EULA (which doesn't restrict business use) and added path portablization for folks who may want to use it to launch portable apps.

I noticed it is not in the Get More Apps or New Release store.

It's in the App store and shows up properly as a new released dated 2012-11-26. It won't show up for you if you already have the old dev test installed.
