The game commences in prehistory and your mission is to lead your tribe from the stone age to the space age. This release updates FreeCiv to the latest version. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

Thanks for updating this, John. I was working on adding working language switching, but hadn't got it working right yet.

When I do a download through the platform, it downloads FreeCiv twice, then errors out saying it's not valid. Any idea why that would happen? I'm using v12 Beta 1 of the platform.

Usually that would mean the md5 hash in the updater database is incorrect or there is an error on your mirror. Since I am getting the error as well, I am leaning more towards the md5 being incorrect.

when update civ from platfrom,
it try to download file twice - i am not sure what is the second file it download. (it working like it online paf installer, instead of local paf installer)

when it finish download both file, it say the install is in valid.
please fix the PAF file, and upload it again.

The MD5 was incorrect in the database. I've fixed it. Sorry about that.
