Description: ProjectLibre ProjectLibre project management software emulates Microsoft Project and complements LibreOffice to provide a full collection of tools for the team manager. It maintains a list of tasks and then tracks when they're marked as completed. It’s meant to be a drop-in replacement, so open source teams can check things off their lists, too. My one (and only) question - does it accept durations less than 1 day?
The one thing that I haven't been able to find in a full-features open source project management solution is the ability to enter eg. 0.1 for a duration and having the task take up 1 hour.
I currently use Gantt Project (which doesn't support durations less than 1 day) but if this has hour durations I will definitely take a look at it.
ProjectLibre can have task durations less than one day
Yes, ProjectLibre can have task durations less than one day. See the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSX1VSdnFv4
Around minute 10, you will see task durations of 2 hours and 0.5 day being added.
One of the low-rated reviews on sourceforge seems to indicate that it is reliant on a local install of java, and not working with OpenJDK.
That would affect its portability somewhat.
If at first you do not succeed, use more sticky tape.
ProjectLibre would be a great addition PortableApps and to LibreOffice if it could interoperate. Has there been any progress on including ProjectLibre in PortableApps. There was a some work a few months ago but then the project seems to have hit a wall.
Thanks
Jojo

I'll take a look at it. Give me a few days.

It's on my radar, but I haven't had a chance to work on it yet.
I've entered it at January this year. when will the radar recognize it?
I second that.
If you're requesting it, it's already available: https://portableapps.com/node/38271
Great, thanks for your quick reaction. I'll install it immediately.
thanks's for porting it. after first short tests it seems to work well.
