Is anyone else seeing issues with the displaying of the PortableApps homepage? For the last 12-18 hours, a lot of the images seem to be missing (is the CDN working ok?). This is what I see with Firefox:

With Internet Explorer:

As you can see, basically the same deal - except Firefox hides the missing images whereas IE shows them with the red 'x'. No security software running, have rebooted the router, cleared cache and no changes to PC configuration from a day and a bit ago when all was working fine (and PApps is the only website affected).

It's fine here. Could be that your local branch of the CDN is having issues. It should correct itself shortly.
Flushing your IP cache in Windows could speed it up. Open up a command prompt and enter:
ipconfig /flushdns
Note that your ISP or home router could keep it cached longer.

about 24 hours ago (from time of this post) I was having the same issues - images not showing [using Firefox ESR portable 17.0.9].
It seemed to have fixed itself a 3-4 hours later when I looked at the portableapps.com site again.
hmm .... when I loaded up portableapps.com an hour ago everything looked fine, but right at this very moment it is playing up again.
Adblock Plus is disabled on portableapps.com. I do have NoScript but that can't be causing the problem?
Looking at some download pages, I see all the usual images on some
https://portableapps.com/apps/development/akelpad_portable
https://portableapps.com/apps/development/notepadpp_portable
but I found one that doesn't show me the "Download Now" button
https://portableapps.com/apps/accessibility/balabolka-portable
Interestingly, clicking where the button should be starts the download as usual, so it's just the image that is not showing..
Now, I am currently using a computer with a slow internet connection, but I've looked at the balabolka-portable page with Iron portable and I could see the "Download Now" button. Does that suggest a FF problem, or maybe a problem with one of my addons?
ok - doing some quick testing with different (portable) browsers
[global location - Australia]
------
shut down Firefox (Portable esr 19.0.7)
flushed the DNS
start FF
no change, still can't see some images
Shut down FF
start in Safe Mode
no change, still can't see some images
> checking with FF 24 portable
no change, still can't see some images
shut down FF 24
install a clean version of FF 24 portable and run
no change, still can't see some images
run GoogleChrome Portable
slow to load portableapps.com, images missing
can't see the "Download Now" button on Balabolka Portable page, can see it on AkelPad Portable page.
close GoogleChrome portable
run Iron portable
can see all the images on portableapps.com [and it loaded noticable quicker than Google Chrom portable]
Can see the the "Download Now" button on Balabolka Portable page
end testing
-----
back with FF esr and images are missing.
If it wasn't for the fact that Iron portable is seeing the images fine I'd think it was a ISP/Cache problem, but if some browsers are having problems seeing the images while others are fine can it be a ISP or a Cache problem?
I apologise John, this probable doesn't help you at all :(,
but I got curious and tried different browsers.
@romulous - can you try Iron Portable and see if that also works for you?
Tried flushing the DNS, no change. Tried Chrome Portable - no difference. Tried Iron Portable, same deal - images are missing.
(Australia here as well)

If you can not see images, could you please ping cdn.portableapps.com and let me know what IP address you get?

If I try one of the images direct (https://cdn.portableapps.com/_icon_-_portableapps_128.png), I just get a 502 Bad Gateway error.

I've opened a ticket with MaxCDN.
I map to the same IP address here in NYC and all images load without issue for me.

Thanks, I've passed this along to the MaxCDN support team.

I've heard back from MaxCDN. There was apparently an issue with the origin IP on this zone and it should be fixed now. Could you please confirm?
Our apologies for this issue. MaxCDN/NetDNA asked to pass along theirs as well.

And a thank you to romulous as well
[for helping John]
Well, I got a few hours out of it before it broke again I suppose.
