I'm interested in giving away engraved USB keys with Portableapps Platform to special customers as a gift.
Is the Suite installed in the PA-Companion placed in a ROM or is it deletable by my customers (not apreciated)?
If it is simply preinstalled in the FLASH part and as I'm located in Germany, could I simply buy some blank USB keys an install a PA-Platform with preselected programs suitable for them?
And: Would it be a problem with engraving the German Umlauts (ä, ö, ü)?

The suite is installed onto the normal writable and deletable flash part of the drive like any other data you would put on it.
So it can be deleted by the recipient.
And mine had some umlauts displayed incorrectly.

Regarding the Umlauts: Do you mean with the Apps? I meant the physical printing on the stick itself.
I meant the printing on the drive, not within the apps.
