New: RegAlyzer Portable (registry editor) Released

Submitted by scriptdaemon on May 9, 2014 - 5:27pm

logoRegAlyzer Portable has been released. RegAlyzer is a tool to browse and change the registry. It's packaged in Format so it can easily integrate with the Platform. It's free for personal and business use.

Update automatically or install from the portable app store in the Platform.

Screenshot RegAlyzer was created because of a few features we missed in the original regedit tool, from support for exotic value types over background and regular expression search to better bookmarks, displaying .reg files in the accustomed style and a history view. It can even display .reg files without importing them.

RegAlyzer Portable is packaged in a Installer so it will automatically detect an existing installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in Format, so it automatically works with the Platform including the Menu and Backup Utility.

RegAlyzer Portable is available for immediate download from the RegAlyzer Portable homepage. Get it today!

I noted a couple copypasta errors with this app: The download button displays an incorrect Alt text, specifically, it states "Download TinyTask".

Also, when attempting to download the app via the platform's get new apps functionality, The app store spits out a download error - it trys to download from SF rather than from the freeware download CDN.

Both are fixed, thanks for the heads up.
