- Custom color variation
- Local desktop icons replaced with Portable App icons
- Ability to close all applications/app processes running from the drive upon platform exit

1 and 3 are already in the list with code for both done, just some GUI finishing needed. You can even open up the theme INI files and drop your own HTML hex color codes in for now if you're so inclined (note that they will be lost on upgrades).
As for 2, we may do a custom desktop (it's in the list) and have played with some code to handle it (aka, hide the existing desktop entirely - not just hide the explorer.exe icon process of the local desktop - and show our own with our own icons, etc). There are a couple other hacky utilities that try to add/remove icons to the regular desktop but they can get a bit wonky, including leaving a non-functional desktop on a crash. And they tend to handle different resolutions badly, losing icon placement as you move from PC.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
