Update automatically or install from the portable app store in the PortableApps.com Platform.
Features
SpeedyFox optimizes the sqlite databases that many apps use to store their settings, bookmarks, history and other data. It works with Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird, Skype, Google Chrome, SRWare Iron, and more. It will list and pre-select to optimize all the local apps it finds. And, in a PortableApps.com exclusive, the portable version will automatically detect and set itself to optimize Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition (stable, ESR and Test); Mozilla Thunderbird, Portable Edition (stable, ESR and Test); Google Chrome Portable (Stable, Beta and Dev); and Iron Portable.
PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format
SpeedyFox Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Platform including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Infection?
It seems that my Avast antivirus doesn't like SpeedyFox. When I try to download it it shows me:
Infection: FileRepMetagen [Adw].
Avast Is Broken Again
Looks like Avast has a broken virus definitions update. I'd update your antivirus definitions, because Avast currently lists it as clean: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/771a5630d0adbbfc4798692f1a57a98c9cb95...
If you continue to have issues, contact Avast about their bug.
SpeedyFox and Avast
Same problem. Avast is up to date. Check it before trying to download. Turned it off, then downloaded and installed. Back on, Avast does not seem to have a problem running SpeedyFox.
FileRepMetagen [Adw] is a
FileRepMetagen [Adw] is a heuristic detection used by Avast Antivirus, Avast Internet Security or Avast Premier to indicate and detect a Potentially Unwanted Program.
A potentially unwanted application is a program that contains adware, installs toolbars or has other unclear objectives.
In this case Avast is not familiar with what SpeedyFOx does as far as cleaning u SQL files so since it is not sure it warns you. In the ultimate end of things you as the user make the final decision as to what you wish to install and not install.
