I don't use one that often, only occasionally to d/l a Linux image to play with. But my experience has been good with qBittorent. Transmission is ok but it hooks into the local p.c. and you have to reboot to be able to eject your flash drive safely.
The Transmission Portable launcher has custom code to kill off the malfunctioning dbus-daemon.exe after Transmission exits. I just checked to ensure it was working properly. The only time it may have an issue if you have multiple apps launching multiple dbus-daemon.exe processes for some reason.
