Open links in default browser

My default browser (installed normally, not portable) is Firefox.
Additionally, I have Google Chrome as portable app (as alternative).

If I open for e.g. the website of an app from the context menu in the PortableApps Platform, it is opened in Chrome instead of the default browser Firefox. If I remove Chrome, the link is opened normally in Firefox.

Is it possible to change this behaviour? How does the PortableApps Platform determine the browser to use for links?
I already tried removing the [Associations] Section in the appinfo.ini of Chrome, without success.

Platform

Platform will open in Firefox, Chrome, Opera in that order. If Firefox is missing, then Chrome. It will only open a local browser as a last resort if no portable browsers are installed. This behavior can not currently be altered. It will at some point in the future.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
