Is there a chance of getting GIMP development version, along with a stable one, as a Portable App?

I have added it to the Outdated Apps tracker, however it is only available for x64 at the moment, so we will not be releasing it until an x86 build is available.
Why would that matter?

We don't provide 64-bit only packages of any application.
There is a 64-bit test release of Google Chrome, but it's a special case, and we don't make a habit of it.

So deny the users who use 64-bit PCs (which is now the mainstream when buying a new computer) the ability to use better portable software suited for their architecture?
You guys don't like to adapt around here much, do you? Do not get me wrong, I still develop PAFs for use with 32-bit PCs as well as Windows XP because those are still going to be around for awhile but you would think you'd at least adapt to the new environment variable change from
AllUsersAppDatatoProgramData(which has been this way for years now) and keep the old one for backwards compatibility.daemon.devin
We're talking about a dev version of GIMP. No reason to go hyperbolic and claim user are being denied better software.

That's not my point John. I love what you guys are doing here and I've been with you guys over 10 years but what I think you guys need to be doing is trying to stay relevant. Keeping up with the change with Windows OS isn't a bad idea. Forgive me if I'm speaking out of place, but update the website too. Markdown is a really safe and great way to format forum posts, for example using underscores to make something bold instead of using:
<strong>This is of course just my opinion and doesn't have much weight but I do not want you guys here to become a dying breed because you're not. However, it would be in your best interest to keep up with the times.

Took me several times and edits just to show the markdown example when I could have just used backticks to show a code block and it still is not working because it won't show the strong HTML tag.

Regarding PROGRAMDATA: The way it's currently implemented, that folder already has a way to be accessed, what is the need to change it?
Oh so we can use HTML entities too than? Maybe you should clarify that in the Allowed HTML tags part too.
As far as the Program Data thing, a couple weeks ago I was helping someone with a portable app he was working on. To make this short, I told him about
%AllUsersAppData%and he was confused. In the end of it all I found out he never used a PC that had a Windows XP as an OS. This should be self-explanatory from here.daemon.devin
You didn't respond to my post at all. Not allowing 64-bit-only apps as official releases is not an issue. Please keep any additional discussion out of a post about making a portable dev version of GIMP.
