As always, you'll need to contact Avast for them to fix their issue. There's no need to post about it here as we can't affect their error at all. Or you can switch to another antivirus.

BTW the same installation file from the author's site, iobituninstaller.exe, is no problem by Avast, no false positive pop-up.
I can extract it via 7-zip, use only the {app} folder and run it portable. Only two Registry entries due to my firewall. No bundleware or plug-ins.
Of course PortableApps the better way to go, more organised and convenient.
It seems the latest paf (con-)version different than the previous version, IObitUninstallerPortable_7.2.0.11.paf.exe, because it installs and running fine.
I'll wait for the next update.
