I tried to submit a request for a new app over at the Request Apps thread, but my comment was flagged as spam.

The spam blocking we currently employ is based on your source IP address and the URLs you include. If the app you're requesting is spammed to a lot of forums, that URL won't be allowed. Note that we have no control over what is and isn't allowed. It's via Mollom. Though it will be shutting down shortly in which case we'll be overrun by spam again.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I finally got my App Request comment to go through. However, I wound up having to remove ALL of my detailed elaboration as to why I wanted a PA.com version of that app. I left my comment down to the bare bones minimum. The original version didn't even have any URLs. IMO it didn't have anything controversial or anything dangerous to security.
Who knows. Maybe the spam filter has a certain threshold for how much text it allows before it deems it too much text and flags it as spam.
