Security fix for uTorrent

The fix for HTTP/RPC Security Vulnerabilities in uTorrent was released a few days ago.

Is there any plan/forecast on updating uTorrent portable?

Outdated Apps Thread

As always, you can report outdated apps and follow along with their progress in the Outdated Apps Thread. It's linked from the Support and Development sections as well as a notice at the top of the page when you create a post. We didn't know about the update until recently and didn't know it was a security update until this moment. As we prioritize security updates, it's been moved up the list. Please, in the future, check that thread as soon as you notice an app that's outdated and post if it's not already listed. If it's a security update and not already listed as being worked on or marked a priority, let us know that there, too.

Side note: One reason we were unaware of this update until recently is that uTorrent hasn't updated their download page. They still list the December release as the current one. Quite odd if a publisher is worried about people updating for a security issue.

Thanks

Thanks for your quick reply, and apologies for posting in the wrong place -- I'll pay more attention in the future.

Timing

My "please" was more about letting us know sooner rather than lambasting you for posting in the wrong place. Some publishers like uTorrent don't have a reliable way of us ensuring we know about every release as you can see from the fact that the uTorrent Download page still lists the wrong version from December. The sooner we know, the sooner we can get an update out. Thanks for letting us know about this one.
