It would be nice to see a portable version of Discord, especially for people who have joined groups that are Discord-only. I've seen other devs make such an app but with the official consent of Discord Inc. I have seen a portable version here but for some reason it requires admin rights on my PC.

The program is natively portable but I've been a little annoyed by the update process so a PA version would be nice.

Really? Like the Discord app on the website?
I tried that one, to my displeasure it does not move my data around and requires admin rights. Also, it keeps on re-applying updates it already applied and requires me to sign in again and again every time I launch the app.
