Schematic Capture

PCB Layout
Make professional PCB layouts with up to 32 copper layers. KiCad now has a push and shove router which is capable of routing differential pairs and interactively tuning trace lengths.
3D Viewer
KiCad includes a 3D viewer which you can use to inspect your design in an interactive canvas. You can rotate and pan around to inspect details that are difficult to inspect on a 2D view. Multiple rendering options allow you to modify the aesthetic appearance of the board or to hide and show features for easier inspection. (Source: Homepage)

Hi. I downloaded release 5.0.2 Dev Test 1 and installed it , but it didn't run. I have Windows 7 x64 with last update on this day. I tried to experiment with mixing files from Portable KicCad 4.x "KiCadPortable_4\App\KiCad\bin\bin" folder and I got result. I copied files from Portable KicCad 4.x bin folder with name "ssleay32.dll" and "libeay32.dll" to folder "KiCadPortable_5\App\KiCad\bin\" and that's it. My release started work. I hope this information will be helpful. Thanks mwayne for the release! Have a good day.

Hello, first thank you for your hard work.
I am a kicad and portableapps user, and your build are what I use.
but 5.0.2 (the last kicad version to support the legacy canvas) don't work on my 3 computers.
Can you fix it because I would love to upgrade from 5.0.1.
All the versions above 5.0.2 dropped support for the legacy canvas in the schematic editor.
They use a new gpu accelerated version of the canvas.
Can you fix your 5.0.2 build please ?

I'm guessing the publisher isn't interested in the patch at this point. Is that the case? Can we do a version without the patch or is that too much file movement?

I report that the registry is not cleaned on exit from the HKCU/Software/KiCad key
