GIMP has a scanner function just go to File->Create->Scanner/Camera and it should work.

Yes.. But it did not work for my camera. I can not see the camera on the source list... VLC portable can get the camera as source...
(I will try it with my scanner too, if I will plug in it)

Now after long Time I do have found and work with NAPS2 (Not Another PDF Scanner 2)
