A new version of VLC Media Player Portable has been released. VLC Portable is the popular VLC media player packaged as a portable app, so you can take your audio and video files along with everything you need to play them on the go. This version fixes a critical security issue in VLC. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

Update automatically or install from the portable app store in the PortableApps.com Platform.

Features

VLC media player is a highly portable multimedia player for various audio and video formats (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, XviD, WMV, mp3, ogg, ...) as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols. This release adds support for Java for Blu-Ray menus and the aacs plugin. Place the 32-bit DLL and your key file within a VLCPortable\Data\aacs directory (create it with VLC closed if it isn't there) and it'll use it.

UPDATE: It appears the DLL may go in VLC's directory and the key file in the aforementioned aacs folder. I don't have a Blu-Ray player in my PC and can't test this.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
