Mozilla Firefox causing blue screen on Windows 7 (even on uninstall)

Mozilla Firefox latest version from Portable Apps is crashing any Windows 7 PC. Blue screens either on starting up the app, a little time after the app is running. I tried to uninstall it using the Portable Apps platform uninstall option but it blue screens again.

BSOD Produced by Uninstalled App - Impossible

I don't understand how you can be saying that Firefox produces a BSOD when you have actually uninstalled it. That doesn't make any sense at all. In any case, I would recommend also posting your issue at MozillaZine forums. You are more likely to get help there (but do mention that you are using Firefox Portable from PortableApps). http://forums.mozillazine.org/index.php

Use Portable Apps on both Flash Drive and HDD/SSD.

Driver

It's not possible for Firefox itself, either installed or not, to cause a blue screen. It can be caused by a faulty video driver and then trigger by a browser like Chrome, Firefox, et al as they now all use GPU acceleration.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Thanks John. It seems

Thanks John. It seems unlikely that it is caused by a driver issue since the same thing (BSOD) happened on two different PCs made by different manufacturers. I even installed Firefox on the hard disk of one PC and Firefox works fine.

I'm going to format my USB

I'm going to format my USB stick and then restore from PortableApps backup minus Firefox. Then do a fresh install of the latest version of Mozilla Firefox from PortableApps.com

Didn't work

It crashed (BSOD) shortly after I logged in to Firefox sync on the browser. What i should have done, which i'm doing now: is to format, install portable apps suite, then firefox on it's own and sign into to sync.
