Wow, this is awesome!!
Should be great to have the opportunity to download it inside a zip file (download restrictions in my company).
There are any chances of doing pycharm community 2016.3 into portable?
Note that this isn't a zip file, it's an exe.

Hi
First off, Sir, I salute your efforts. Someone loves you in a far distant land.
Second.
What is the relationship of this project with: Eclipse Portable [NEON 4.6] [OXYGEN 4.7], and why would one choose that over this project.
Regards
MR
4.6 and 4.7 were, respectively, releases in 2016 and 2017. 4.13 was released in September, 2019.

Hello, I changed main app into eclipse java ee 64bit pack. But it seems that chaging setting "EclipsePortable.ini : JavaPath=..\CommonFiles\JDK64\bin\javaw.exe " wont work.
can you help me with this?
and is the sourcecodes complete? I tried to compile, but cant find AppInfo\Launcher\EclipsePortable.ini
I find that settings will be lost and corrupted if upgrade.
when using 64bit win10, and 64bit eclipse, having both 32bit and 64bit jdk,
add a line in eclipse.ini (after openFile --)
-vm
XXXX/PortableApps/CommonFiles/JDK64/bin/javaw.exe
Launch eclipse.exe directly, it will work. But this lost portable feature

failed to load the JNI shared library
D:\PortableApps\EclipsePortable\App\Java\bin\server\jvm.dll
I had installed java portable in D:\PortableApps\CommonFiles and i had copied all the Java files from a local install to
D:\PortableApps\EclipsePortable\App\Java.
I had created the file javaportable.ini with this text:
[JavaPortable]
Vendor=Sun Microsystems Inc.
Version=1.8.0_181
URL=http://java.sun.com/
What's wrong?
Just tested and it works for me. Are you trying to use 64-bit Java? Eclipse is 32-bit so you have to use 32-bit Java. Unfortunaltely it can't be mixed up.

Note:
They dropped 32-bit support so this is 64-bit only from now on.
Current JPortable64 installs in CommonFiles\Java64, but Eclipse Portable 4.10 Dev Test 1 still complains of not finding it. I renamed the JPortable64 folder to CommonFiles\Java (without 64) and then Eclipse Portable starts without problems. Now I wonder if PortableApps platform won't get confused about next Java update and get me the 32-bit!
By the way, a quick question. I see now that the current official Eclipse distribution is just a zip file. Is this any different from your portable package, besides from the compatible PA platform launcher?
I get this error:
Update base app
When placed in PortableApps.com Platform folder, The 64bit launcher cant find jdk64 or jre64, even define JavaPath=..\CommonFiles\JDK64\bin\javaw.exe in the EclipsePortable.ini .
Unfortunately it can only find the name Java in CommonFiles. So you have to rename JDK64 to Java. Or if you want to use JavaPath you need to remove the last part after bin, e.g. JavaPath=..\CommonFiles\JDK64\bin\

Hello,
I need IDE's for c++, java and python.
java and Pythdev extension for this portable eclipse version seems to work.
For c++ i get no working toolchain installed.
I hope someone can help me with a few questions.
1st: What is the difference from this portable eclipse installtion to a normal eclipse installtion.
So i thought eclipse where general portable, so i thought i can replace
G:\PortableApps\EclipsePortable_4.13_Dev_Test_1.paf\App\Eclipse
with a newer eclipse installation from the internet.
Is that correct ?
2nd: Because eclipse wlll be blown up im in RAM consumption i would seperate the eclipse ide in 3 IDE's.
Can someone tell me a simple way how i can relaize it without affecting each other.
I hope someone can help help.
And thank for all which read my post and think about it.

> This application requires Java 64-bit (e.g. jPortable64) to run.
from EclipsePortable.ini
JavaPath=..\CommonFiles\Java\bin\javaw.exe
MinGWPath=..\CommonFiles\MinGW\bin
AdditionalPaths=..\MSYSPortable\App\MSYS\bin
This only finds Java not Java64 directories. If I add the Java64 path to the EclipsePortable.ini and drop it next to EclipsePortable.exe, it still looks for the 32-bit JRE.
I think this needs to be repackaged as 64-bit app to co-exist with other PortableApps.
MinGW and MSYSPortable paths
Are these necessary, do they also point to 32-bit versions?
