thunderbird portable no more update,can i know why?

hi
i see the team keep update firefox and chrome
but thunderbird is stuck at version Version 60.9.1 while the last version is 68.7
may i know why? Is it harder to update ? I mean is harder to make portable the last version?

As noted in the Outdated Applications tracker, thunderbird 68.7.0 is currently being built, and will be released as soon as this has occurred.

There was a bug that messed with extensions and the way firefox/thunderbird handled them in newer versions. It was sorted out not long ago. Details here.
