Is anyone else having problems to get the latest KeePass Pro version v2.45 via the PortableApps Platform Update ?
I've installed version v2.44 at the following path on a USB-Stick: S:\PortableApps\PortableApps\KeePassProPortable
The ‘Check For Updates’ function does not trigger any downloads. I'm getting the message that ‘All portable apps are up to date’.
Really strange, since the new update for the CrystalDiskInfo app v8.5.2 worked fine here and the update had been released on the same day as the new KeePass Pro version - May 10. Tested this with a clean install of KeePass Pro v.244 as well. No luck either. Running PortableApps Platform v16.1.1 on Windows 10 Home (1809) 64-bit.
Workaround would be to do a manual installation of course but I'm curious to know what might have went wrong here. If anyone could bother to reproduce the ‘error’ I'd highly appreciate it.
It should be in S:\PortableApps\KeePassProPortable
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Thanks for your reply.
I've chosen the userdefined install location S:\PortableApps\PortableApps\AppName for all of the PA apps on purpose and didn't have any trouble with updates at all.
Checked auto-updates again today and I'm getting the message that a new version of Q-Dir (8.18) is available for download (screenshot: https://www.bilder-upload.eu/bild-63f491-1589270706.jpg.html) which -in my opinion- rules out that the path is the root of the problem in regards to KeePass.
Any other suggestion ?
The problem "magically" fixed itself yesterday it seems. The auto-update for KeePass Pro 2.45 came at the same day as the new Q-Dir Version 8.25 (screenshot: https://www.bilder-upload.eu/bild-e8e546-1589911653.jpg.html). Topic can be closed.
