Windows Networking Configuration

The PortableApps.com Updater uses the Windows networking components for downloads. Only Internet Explorer matters for testing. The most common issues are either with enabled encryption methods (if you've disabled modern ones or are using XP/Vista, you won't be able to download) and using a software firewall (which are pretty notorious for messing up downloads via Windows networking components).

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

same issue

I'm having same issue updating apps. I have Windows 10, 64-bit, with only modern encryption protocols enabled, the Chromium-based Edge browser installed, and I had uninstalled Internet Explorer (11) when I installed Edge.
