Hi there,
I help old people with older systems just as WinXP or WIN7 via USB stick to slower computers with limited resources that are just as old and of only 32-bit. Sometimes they´re even offline.
I must download 32-bit programs with my 64-bit notebook here and can´t use any automatic detection due to the fact that a accidentaly downloaded 64-bit version is then useless if transported to a 32-bit system.as a cuckoo egg and I have to repeat the same procedure as last year.
Let's say I need the last 32-bit version of firefoxESR portable 52 german how do I find it from here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/portableapps/files/Mozilla%20Firefox%2C...
Even when I click on the Link there´s even no 32-bit or 64-bit information on the pop-up.
It asks me to download an unknown version just called
FirefoxPortableESR 52.8.0 German.paf.exe
I hope I explained my problem and apologise for my bad English as it´s not my native language,
best regards
Just download the version you want and it should be exactly what you need.
Unless it is specifically listed as 64-bit (which we do only very rarely) all of our software is either 32-bit, or 32-bit & 64-bit bundled together with detection for the system it is currently running on.
In the meantime sigcheckGUI confirmed the 32bit versions I downloaded.
I worried unnecessarily,
thank you very much
