Perhaps I'm missing something obvious, but I'm not seeing the current PortableApps.com Platform version number in the Options dialog box. Would it be reasonable to add it to the 'General' or 'Updater' tab of that dialog box? Or perhaps, even better, create an 'About' tab for that dialog box that includes the version number. Doing this will not add another menu item, but will make the version number readily available.

Click Help - About from the platform and you'll see the current version. That's pretty standard for nearly all Windows apps. Having it in the Options window is uncommon.

Thanks. I didn't try clicking on "Help" because I thought it would open a help file (crazy thought, I know) just like the "Documents" button opens "Documents", the "Music" button opens"Music", the "Options" button opens "Options", etc.
Just FYI, there is a standard is to have an "About" dialog from a standard "Help" menu, but the PortableApps.com UI violates many, many standards (including important accessibility standards that aid the disabled). Not that violating some of the standards is necessarily a bad thing, but please don't expect people to somehow think that standards will apply to a UI that violates so many standards. Once a UI violates users' established mental models of how standard applications look and behave, all bets are off.
The PA.c Platform is quite accessible and tested in screen readers. It uses a series of standard controls off-form to use the standard paradigms. If you have a specific accessibility issue, please create a new topic with the specific bug.

I think I posted an accessibility issue months ago, but IIRC, I never received a response.
When the user uses a dark theme, many of the PortableApps.com Platform icons become impossible to discern because they are black on black.
I'll try to find that report.
If you mean in legacy Windows' theming of menus, it's not likely something that'll be fixed.

I'm not sure of the complete list of Windows versions to which each issue applies. I'm sorry. I can only confirm they all exist on Windows 7.
Many assistive tools do not work with Windows 10 or 11, and many disabled people (and non-profit organizations) cannot afford new computers, even if they did.
With inflation at record highs, disabled people are concerned about affording food, shelter, and medical care. Fear of becoming homeless (which often results in death for disabled people) is at the top of disabled people's minds. A fancy new computer is not even a passing thought.
