If you want only the word processor, try AbiWord
Openoffice cant be split up into its parts.

OpenOffice comes as the
OpenOffice comes as the whole suite, I don't think you can have it separately. This is more an issue for OpenOffice.org than here - this site just provides a way to get the software to run from a USB drive, if OpenOffice.org distributed the components separately then they would probably be available here portably.
