Is it risky to use this version?
Thanks in advance!
I think the hash was for the 68.12.0 release. It's been updated for 68.12.1. The release is digitally signed and the hashes are correct in the platform's database.
Note that this release is risky to use due to it being outdated, like any discontinued version branch of a browser or email client. It has known security issues and is no longer supported by the Thunderbird team, Mozilla, or PortableApps.com. It is made available strictly for testing and old extension use offline.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Thank you!
I know that the version has expired. Need it only to update from an even older version. It's not like you're supposed to do it all at once. Especially not with Enigmail configured.
So I will slowly "work my way up".
Thanks again for the response.
