ExifToolGui - an advanced GUI for ExifTool

ExifToolGui is a front end (a GUI) for the popular program (Windows command-line) ExifTool.
This is a rewrited version of original ExifToolGui by Bogdan Hrastnik.
The project is now hosted at GitHub and it's maintained by Frank Bijnen: first release of new 6.xx branch is of August 9, 2023.

• works on: Windows 7, 8.1, 10, 11
• For Windows XP and Vista You must try

ExifTool by Phil Harvey:
• Exiftool (CLI) web site: https://exiftool.org/
• Exiftool -> Windows Executable: https://exiftool.org/exiftool-12.69.zip
• ExifTool Application Documentation (Help): https://exiftool.org/exiftool_pod.pdf

How use this Gui:
1. first unzip exiftool-current_version.zip in the same folder of ExifToolGui
2. rename "exiftool(-k).exe" to exiftool.exe
3. launch ExifToolGui
4. navigate in Your hard disk and open an existing image for view/edit/export Exif data.

Portability test: the Windows executable write the file ExifToolGuiV6.ini in:
--> C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Roaming\ExifToolGui\ExifToolGuiV6.ini

Note
1. If You delete this file ExifToolGuiV6.ini and it's folder, il will recreated at new launch (subfolder + file).
2. You can put a copy of this configuration file near the program (32 or 64 bit): the program read it but save the same or a version with changes (of configuration) always inside 'C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Roaming\ExifToolGui'.

Planning On It

I've been planning on doing this at some point as I've used it here and there.

Edit: It's released: https://portableapps.com/news/2023-11-06--exiftoolgui-portable-6.2.0-rel...

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
