I downloaded LibreOfficePortable_7.3.2_MultilingualAll.paf.exe and installed it to a folder AppsPortable\LibreOffice
The installation was successful, but after that none of the applications can execute - all of them start and terminate immediately. I didn't expect such a strange problem. I didn't have that problem with LibreOfficePortable_7.3.1_MultilingualAll.paf.exe
Also, I installed LibreOffice 7.3.3.2 by downloading LibreOffice_7.3.3_Win_x64.msi from https://www.libreoffice.org and it works OK, but it is a regular installation (not portable). I have Windows 11 on my computer. I hope that when https://portableapps.com releases LibreOfficePortable 7.3.3 it will work normally under Windows 11.

I just installed a fresh copy of LibreOffice Portable 7.3.2 Multilingual All to the Desktop directory in a clean Windows 11 virtual machine. It works without issue. Please include more details including the full install path and language selected during install as well as whether you selected to remove unused languages. Also please try installing a fresh copy to your Desktop directory to see if it works on its own.

I'm having the same issue on Windows 11, except with version 7.6.4 Rev 2. The programs just don't start.
- During installation, I chose the "English" language. Then I selected the option to remove extra languages and picked the "G:\LibreOfficePortable" path, which I believe is short enough.
- I tried removing/renaming the "user" folder in "Data/settings", didn't help. Trying to start up LibreOffice after that doesn't even generate a new "user" folder.
- Running as admin doesn't help.
- When installed with the official installer instead, LibreOffice works great.
I tried to find logs of any kind, but failed to. The only thing I noticed is empty .tmp files being created in %temp% every time I try to launch LibreOffice Portable. Event Viewer comes up empty.
Please try running the contained version of LibreOffice within LibreOffice Portable directly which will run it in local mode. Explore to LibreOfficePortable\App\libreoffice\program and run soffice.exe.

Thank you for your response. Running the executable in this directory results in the following error:
"The code execution cannot proceed because wer.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."
Googling tells me this dll file is related to Windows Error Reporting. Thinking it's a system file that may have gotten corrupted on my Windows installation, I tried running sfc and dism commands to make sure that didn't happen, but apparently my system is in tip-top shape, no issues found.
I'd wager your local install was of the 64-bit variety. Try installing the 32-bit variety and you should see the same error you see in running the portable one directly. On a clean, up to date Windows 11 machine, LibreOffice Portable 7.6.4 Rev 2 runs without issue for me.
If the local install of 32-bit does work for you, please let me know whether you're downloading LibreOffice Portable Multilingual All or Standard, what language you are installing in, and whether you select to remove additional languages so I can try to recreate the issue exactly.

Looks like your wager was correct, the installable 32-bit version indeed shows the same error when I try it to launch. And just because it's been a while since I did the previous test of installable LibreOffice, I tried the 64-bit version instead and it indeed works.
I guess the simplest solution would be to also (or maybe even "instead") make portable versions of the 64-bit variant of LibreOffice?
Unfortunately, this is something specific to your PC. It works without issue on a clean, fully up to date Windows 11 install in my testing. And you're the sole user complaining of this issue. To the point that searching the error message you encountered in quotes on Google only has 2 results. Are you sure you posted the exact error you saw? Pro tip: You can hit CTRL-C while a messagebox window is focused to copy all the text out of it.

OP also may have had the same issue, even though they haven't proven as cooperative in trying to get this issue properly diagnosed as I am. There could be more people like us two, except they just didn't bother reporting this problem, or reported it and forgot about it. If there's anything else I can try, any information I can provide, please let me know.

It's not just a portable issue on our end. The local LibreOffice Portable 32-bit fails to run on your Windows 11 PC with that specific error while it works fine on my clean Windows 11 install (both local and portable 32-bit work fine). And the error message that only shows up in 2 places in the entire world online. That points to a local PC issue rather than an issue with LibreOffice 32-bit itself. And it's not an issue with LibreOffice Portable as it occurs in the local install. Unfortunately, since basically no one else is experiencing it even with a local issue, I'm not sure what direction to point you in to getting it fixed for your PC.

Yeah I guess I should just go and beat it. If I go bother LibreOffice devs that a 32-bit version of their program fails to run on my 64-bit system while the 64-bit version runs fine, they'll ask "why not just run the 64-bit version then". Telling them that I want to be able to use a PortableApps version of LibreOffice probably isn't going to be a good enough reason for them to bother.

The only thing I can think of is reinstalling Windows 11 over itself, without removing apps or data of course. If I recall correctly, this is, in theory, what major Windows 11 upgrades often do. Is Win11 fully up to date?

It is fully up to date. I have installed the 23H2 update about a month ago, but unfortunately LibreOfficePortable wasn't able to run before it either.
Apparently Windows 11 "feature updates" aren't what they used to be compared to Windows 10. I installed that update a month ago and I'm yet to find a single new feature it introduced. I guess all the new stuff was distributed individually/in batches over time, so this 23H2 update feels like just a version number increment and not much else...
Reinstalling the whole system for LibreOffice sounds a bit overkill, but I could use the "refresh" feature. I'll try it over the weekend and if it helps at all, I'll let you know.
