This program is unfortunately not open source... I discovered this fact about 99% of the way through the process... but there are a few copies floating around that either aren't packaged correctly, or are missing updated icon sets, etc. This is just a repack for anyone that is interested in having a working copy, and to serve as a template for further portable apps.

There is no way to private message anyone here - this site is simply a public forum and there is no reason to contact anyone privately.
Either way that is no reason to break rules you have already been warned on. If you don't get an answer, it is because nobody has an answer for you. Leave it and move on, and maybe somebody will answer in the future, or they might not. There are many app requests that have been open for years that will never be fulfilled, or if they are fulfilled by a beta test they may never be officially released.
I don't expect this app to be fully released. Unless, of course Obsidian opens their source,
ok, will try to get forward this way but it will be real hard, as the forum seem to be used very little.

Hmm. Fantastic! I've played around with "portablizing" Obsidian, but never completed it. I REALLY wish the Obsidian team would make an official portable Windows version. This version worked perfectly in a sandbox VM, and has huge potential.

I'll be sure to update my package, which is done in proper format.
obs is now free for business as announced today. commercial license is entirely optional. i know this doesnt make it open source, but it's free. so.... well done and keep up the good work! and it is indeed very good work!

You are spreading FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) in several of your posts. I know you have been warned about this behaviour before.
As stated in the original reply, this package is not a fully open source project anymore, but there were people doing half-right versions left and right so I decided to make one that everyone can enjoy. It will not be added to the roster of official apps based on criteria that are already specified by the people that run this site. Any further criticisms are merely echoes of that idea and should be ignored. Good day.
keep up the good work, some people just dont understand, maybe its a language/nuance issue. the app is free free now, as was announced, and not open source, so your PAF is appropriate and valuable, and will be esp. when *.11 comes out with the release of bases capability. thanks for your talents.

I have no idea what you're talking about with the commercial website thing.
And I'm assuming we're all adults here. Please save the performative emotional outbursts. It has no place in this forum. I do however appreciate your other actual contributions... no matter how laser-focused they seem to be on my work or not. lol
Please remember we are all doing this for free and in our spare time. Keep it somewhat casual and fun. Open source has gotten weird over the past 10 years or so. It really doesn't have to be. pacem, brother. :-*

yeah, i stumbled upon as looking desperately for opensource kanban calendar
but have hope to get there soon somehow
if i say kanban calendar i mean also with note taking or pim,as there are quite few but not easy to find one with calendar view
i dont know how i found one with screenshot may 2013 and calendar view
it was a miracle, they all seem no idea of needing to see it also in the calendar for better overview
as you have also show task in calendar in other apps
and dont forget to drink enough, thats the main problem now, at the climate change
too less great people like john, green parties give now help on solar and before only knitted

Have you tried Kanri? It's an official app now.
know since first final here
but look for one with calendar view and possibly a community/forum
kanri is one-man show in spare time and i search something further
no idea why i didnt stumbled over a nice one,i usually look over it magazines or sites
even like continents #1 but the level is not like the old days
not sure if there is a huge opensource app registry or online db
maybe even transnational
EDIT and a big commiunity is a backup if the dev drops etc

RedNoteBook has a calendar available. You might like that one a lot. Is also available as an official portable app.
its not an opensource kanban calendar
i'm not sure i saw one with many modules in left menu or sidebar
google doesnt show this time pics in main search,so refind will be hard
best would be great opensource directory with filters
