it has dependancy on a .ocx, so it'S not portable

I like Notepad++ and PSPad more. Both are portable.

I used to have N++ and PSPad on my USB drive, but I prefer Notepad2 (flos-freeware.ch). It isn't portable, but a BAT registry wrapper makes it run fine -- and I'm perfectly OK with the default settings, so I don't even need that.
