all of a sudden when i now try to use firefox portable i get an error message telling me it could not find the exe file, check your configuration. what is going on? i'd like to not have to reinstall the app cause i have my extensions, bookmarks, etc exactly how i like them....
any thoughts?
ps: i've checked the directory and firefoxportable.exe is there...
install a fresh copy of Firefox Portable right over your existing one without deleting/damaging your settings.
Do you use the ini to change the name of firefox.exe?

nope, never modified it...so, if i install over top it won't mess with the settings, etc?
Do you use the menu?

by menu do you mean the portableapps menu? yes..that's the only way i launch it...and i have launched it this way ever since the launcher came out...
rename firefox.exe to firefoxportable.exe? If you did, you need to change the INI.

nope, didn't rename it...never messed with it...like i said, this has worked from day 1...until just the other day...
over the existing one. If you use the menu for that, it will be installed in the right place and your settings wont be touched.
