Well i just spent about an hour trying to mess with Miranda and guess what happened.... i didn't get anywhere. Sure i can install some plugins and get my contacts to come up, and i can even talk to them, but we all know that is not what any person really wants to do with a program that boasts it is SOOO customizable and can do anything and look like anything! So after having problems for about 20 min i go to the forums to look for help, being a good minded soul i decide to search the forums first (as not to clutter them with a question i am sure has been answered) guess what i find.... Posts from hundreds of other users asking the same thing, and NONE of them got a flat out answer! Rude people on the forums that don't help anyone! BLAST IT ALL!!!
Well just thought i'd open it up for a Rant/Tech Support for Miranda.... Anyone else try and fail at the Miranda gig? Any Help from those who have succeeded would greatly be appreciated!

You said that you were able to get your contacts up and talk to them. What is your problem with the program? If you have any questions (not rants) please post them here so that we can answer them.

I was so flustered i forgot to say what it was about
My problem is with the skins. Basically I have no idea what to do, I have the modern clist plugin installed and tried to load some skins using the install file but that doesn't work. Do I have to manually select each of the files? how do i make my contact list transparent ? how do i change the icon set? thanks for all the help in advance!

That whole post was a rant, with not a single "How do I do X?" question. How, exactly, would you expect someone to have any clue what it is you need help with from that?
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
If anyone Wants to Skin Miranda with the Clist Modern Skins this is how you do it.
Get these Plugins Clist Modern Image Decoder
Now download any theme you want into a "themes" folder in the directory Miranda is stored under.
Next just look for the Skins Menu in Miranda's main options menu and load the skin with the .msf file
Restart if you need to and that should be it!
For those of you wondering. I searched the Miranda forums and all the posts i found on skinning were posts with my same question, many of them answered with the reply "don't ask this question unless you have searched the forums" no answers!!!
