Got me a drive... Runs U3. I added a few apps to it.
Now I found your package...
Does that replace the U3 stuff? I mean it's different and not compatable, righ?
I go U3 or Portable Apps, right?
How does the portable apps suite work, would it install to the U3 partition instead of the normal partition?

The PortableApps Menu (PAM)is different from U3 and not compatible but you can run them side by side as PAM doesnt run from the U3 Partition.
Some people do this because some U3-Apps doesn't run with the PortableApps Menu and vice cersa.

Yeah... I've learned how to hack my own apps in to U3.
I just wonder if this is a more ideal platform.
Here's the easiest way to add programs to your U3 drive that are not in U3 format. It is a very handy program and it has many nice features such as custom icon, working directory, all that good stuff, it's SmithTech's Shortcut Creator 4 U3. It works like a charm. Give it a shot. It's a lot easier. Personally, I think that PortableApps Menu is a much more ideal solution. Theming is in beta, which provides customization, and you can also type up your own text for the menu for the "Documents", "Help" folders, etc. And apply them. As well, all the programs here are free, much better, and open source.
