Hello all...
You may have heard that I had to leave for a bit... well, I'm back!
Also, there's a grand new (sorry, brand new) project in the works! WearingARedHat on the forums has donated hosting space to a site we're calling PortaSoft -- home to my PortaFTP/PortaShell (when they get released, keep your eyes open), and home to any other projects others here would like to stick in. A PayPal donations box will be set up, to pay for a domain name, but until that happens, the URI is http://portasoft.stsolutions.us/.
I'm currently trying to find a Content Management System (sort of like the Drupal this site runs on) that would fit the bill -- at the moment... if anybody has any ideas, I'd love your help! I have an FTP account, a MySQL database, and ad-free hosting, if anyone's curious
If you'd like to have your project put up -- or help out with one of the others -- shoot me an e-mail (you can do that under my profile).
So, what do you all think?
~nm35
Wish I had proper hosting
Anyway, I will still help you with PortaFTP and PortaShell and am testing a prealpha of both before I give it to you.

The name seems familier, couldnt say where from though

Glad for your input.. There was a bit of activation difficulty, but it's fixed now -- registration and logging in work now.
Steve, you like the name? (It's kind of based on PortaFTP/PortaShell.)
By the way: the site will no longer be centered around my apps -- it'll be a developer's center. (So it isn't quite so chauvanistic...)

I signed up. I hope that we can get some projects out quickly.
@Steve- I would like to know more about MiniUp. It seems like it could be a great program.

Thanks!
I activated your account, and if you like I can give you admin access (I'll give all members of the dev. team admin access).
See you there!

Basically it will be based on the PortaLog code base and will use the command line version of 7zip to package it all up. I might get a pre-beta out tonight if you are lucky. Otherwise it will be the end of next week as I have exams coming up.
