yep

You just have to play with the settings to make sure it saves settings to a file, and it doesn't have an install.

If it was GPL'd, it would be prudent to make a proper pam package. But as far as I know, PSPad is closed source freeware. Maybe someone is willing to make a quick pam launcher that will work with it? I don't really see a need though.

SmithTech made one

http://usb.smithtech.us/apps/downloads/PSPad.exe

Unzip it and put it in your PortableApps directory after that add the guts of PSPad to the App directory.

haha

good call. I guess a search would've been a good idea.

EDIT: although, I don't have the time/ability to test out FTP support when loaded with ST's launcher, though I can't imagine it would be a problem.

Looks good

But I see two reasons John might not like this:

  1. It's not free software, and the license likely forbids redistribution and/or modification
  2. SourceForge, which hosts official PortableApps downloads only accepts open source software

You're welcome to do it yourself though (but note [1] above).

If by "free sotware" you mean "libre/open source software"...

No.

chill?

calm down guys.

it is closed source freeware. smithTech's launcher for it works great [linked above]. no point in quarreling over a finished topic anyway, right?

solution.
