Invade Earth is a Java-based GNU GPL'd version of classic Risk, as well as some other variations on the game. Since Open Office Portable is now adding Java to our thumbdrives, I figured it would be pretty easy to package Invade Earth as a portable app.
I love this game...it's so much easier and more fun to play a game of Risk in 30 minutes without having to count little soldiers or roll dice all the time.

Also, while I'm at it...Thanks to all of you hard workers for all of the updates lately. I really appreciate it! But, um, I just wanted to mention that Gaim hasn't been updated to pidgin yet, and I really would like to see that. <. :="" and="" yes="" i="" know="" this="" has="" been="" discussed="" before="" just="" wanted="" to="" add="" my="" .002="" cents.="">
And made launchers for Pidgin. They seem to work fine, though I'd switch to the official one by John when he's done with it. Check the Gaim Portable forums.
It is the official one.

As all of ya should know Microsoft is the Evil Empire, and Windows (a.k.a. Winblows or Windoze) is their greatest general, so please make a difference and install Linux or FreeBSD on yer Windows comp.
*bump*-ish.
Any idea on how to make this portable? I think it might just need a .exe launcher so that it would work from the PortableApps menu.
Also, thanks for responding about pidgin.
