I'm new to the portableapps scene and I'm currently working on a portableapps version of Reach-a-Mail It's a lightweight portable email client if people are interested ill release it here.
Released Under Beta Testing - https://portableapps.com/node/8583
Not open source, it seems to already be portable, and to make the PA.com version, you would need Reach-A-Mail's author's permission to repackage it, and John T. Haller's (the creator of this site and the portable versions of most of the apps currently hosted here) permission to use the PortableApps.com logo

i Emailed John already about permission to use the PortableApps.com logo, but as for the author of Reach-a-Mail i didn't know i needed the permission from them whereas it was freeware. Like i said I'm new to this.
In most cases, unless it is open source you will need the author's permission to redistribute.

Well then ill email them about it too because i think a portableapps version of this email client would be very usefull
And also sometimes when it is.
"Those people who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do." Asimov
I now have permission from the author of Reach-a-Mail to repackage and redistribute. Just waiting on permission from John now to use the PortableApps logo
I've been waiting for a smaller lighter weight email client.
