Hello,
Everyone, I am curious about why when I plug in my USB stick (Lexar 1gb sport) that it does not just start PAM right away? This is what the autorun.inf looks like:
[Autorun]
Open=PortableApps\PortableAppsMenu\PortableAppsMenu.exe
Action=Start PortableApps
Icon=PortableApps\PortableAppsMenu\PortableAppsMenu.exe
Label=PortableApps
and when I look to ensure that those directory paths exist and the file is there, it is. So why doesn't it start? Any help would be appreciated.
Maybe the autorun is just turned off. I already saw some cases of those here. I don't know how to turn it on (but I've seen how here already). Sometimes, it may not work, but Window$ is a very strange OS. Oh! Make sure you're using Window$ XP or later.

Blue is everything.
It should prompt. But this can happen if autorun has been messed up on your PC. Microsoft has an Autoplay Repair Wizard that may help. It didn't fix one PC of mine that had an issue, but one of the freeware ones out there did (I just don't remember which).
After running the autorun repair, you can (and should) still disable autoplay from CDs using something like TweakUI.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Is this the freeware one?
