VOIP applications for Portable Apps

Love being able to carry my apps around from location to location without having to lug around both a personal and business laptop. One thing missing is a softphone offering such as counterpath x-lite or other open source equivalents.

I'd suggest a fully

I'd suggest a fully OpenSource Windows client rather than x-lite.

There are many to pick from:

OpenWengo

John mentioned at one point he'd done the OpenWengo client, hopefully he still intends to release it after updating to the current PAF and what not, as Skype seems to be popular around here.

Phonerlite works a treat!

I just downloaded this and tried it and it is excellent! I can take my phone and phonebook everywhere I go and answer my home phone at work!

I am very new to this portable apps thing but I love it!

Thanks guys.

EDIT: It doesn't work at work.....must be security settings or proxy server settings or something.

Ekiga is what you're looking

Ekiga is what you're looking for, but it doesn't have a portable version (yet).

VoipSipSdk

VoipSipSdk

I am now looking for voip solutions. And found information about Voip sdk.
According to their website www.voipsipsdk.com
Voip sdk is based on IETF standards (SIP, STUN, etc.), so it should be compatible with other standard based products such as Asterisk, OpenSER other.

They have all features I need:
# Dynamically loadable codecs
# Registrar support
# Play wav files into conversation
# Record conversation into file
# Hold/Retrieve call
# Forward Call (Blind Call Transfer)
# Transfer Call (Attended Transfer)
# Mute Sound
# VPN support
# Noise reduction
# Auto gain
# Jitter buffer parameters
# Samples on Delphi, C#, VB, VB.NET, C++ 2005, C++ 6.0, HTML (SIP ActiveX)
# Windowless samples on C++ and .NET
# DTMF
# Adaptive silence detection
# Adaptive jitter buffer
# STUN support
# Comes as ActiveX control

But before I will download the evaluation version I would like to hear other people experience.

advertisement or contribution?

I fail to see how a closed source SDK (you have to pay for it, the pricing is not even listed at the web page) can contribute to the PortableApps Project ..
